what do you think it means to be in one?
what do you think should be done at them? Arrow should we be telling of the great things Gods doing in ours and others lives? should we be playing around hanging out? should we be doing weekly bible verses and challenging others to be Y.M.A.D.(youth making a difference)? should we be being accountable to each other?

also on a different note does anyone have any really cool ideas on relevant ideas/topics and ways of making meeting together fun?

ok...we decided that it would be best if we have a co-ordinator in most schools or someone who beleives strongly in getting christina groups into schools. They set up groups within the college that meets once a week and discusses religious things or really what ever....thats basically how it works...nut the only problem we have is that schools are banning religious studies within colleges and groups so that makes it difficult and im not really sure how to acheive our goals as im at an anglican school anyway.

Wit schools are Banning religious studies?! they have no right to choose what it is we want to believe! sure if people don't want to learn about it, they dont have to go, just don't make it compulsory but altogether banning it is just a step too far...

Ban religeous studies? Ban it? What? Im shocked and appaled.
our school doesnt offer religious ed, but they havn't banned our 009 christian group (operation opihi 09... started out as 007...). however our principal has forbidden us to do any evanglisim.

and, technically schools cannot ban religious groups. we are a "secular" country, meaning there is no restrictions on religion (other than offering human sacrifices etc.).

um...my old school banned the anglican group because they claimed they were forcing religion onto students and this was a PUBLIC school. It kinda helps that i go to an anglican school which is PRIVATE and they run youth groups via the Chaplain and the Chapel. just my old school we did not force religion on people if they asked we told them what the group was about and we encouraged them to go along once to try it. i think some antheist complained about us.....

oh, right. that makes more sence.
our cristian group is only people who go to youthgroup anyway, so we dont have anyone that we are "forcing religion" on. we are all already christians.
