hey everyone.
to put it bluntly, i suck at praying. i need help, and im sure im not the only one. so, i thought, a thread for ideas for prayer!
to start it off, i want to develop a prayer for those who work for fair-trade, and other fair-trade organisations.
im thinking along the lines of,
"dear god,
your world is oppressed,
and we are the opressors,
(pause)
help us see our falts.
help us to care for others,
of every tribe and race,
and especially we pray for those under the grip of slavery.
we pray for the opressed,
may their lifes be healed.
we pray for the liberators,
the bringers of freedom and justice to these people,
and we pray for sustaind development of their lives.
we pray for the opressers,
may you open their eyes to the horrors of their opression."
so yea, constrictive critisism please.

Not so much an idea of a prayer, but more an idea for prayer...
I found a website that is quite good and has some prayers for everyday, with scripture to reflect on...
A gd one to check it out...
